A Very Disney Engagement Shoot

You may remember that my cousin Michael proposed to his fiance, Whitney, this past Christmastime in Disneyland. (Caught on video here!) This summer during our annual summer trip, I took a few engagement photos of them in the park. Whitney found the cutest Disney shirts for them to wear as well! Here is a little peek, enjoy.

Hidden Mickey Monday!

This underwater Mickey can be found in the snorkeling area at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay. During our trip we chose the snorkeling excursion for the day rentals, which I highly recommend! There's a lot of cool objects to explore on the ocean floor and I was delighted to find this Mickey. (I snapped this picture using my underwater camera)

Hidden Mickey Monday!

This Mickey was only on display for a limited time to promote the Lone Ranger premiere at Disney's California Adventure. The train prop from the film was on display in Hollywoodland, and if you peeked inside this clever Mickey was looking down at you. Limited Mickeys are the most rewarding to find!

The Lone Ranger World Premiere

On June 23, 2013 Disney's California Adventure hosted the World Premiere of Disney's latest film, The Lone Ranger. We only found out about the event because we saw them setting up the red carpet a few days in advance. We lined up around 5am, and the event started about 6pm. It was a very hot, very long day to sit on a curb, but totally worth it! Here's a few shots from the day.

Hidden Mickey Monday!

Today's Mickey can be found aboard the Disney Dream Cruise Ship (and probably the other Disney ships as well). At the buffet style restaurant, Cabana's, you can find these cute juice cups with subtle Mickeys amidst the texture pattern.

Sorry for the haitus, we have been very busy with the wedding and moving, but I have a ton of Disney events to catch up on. I will be posting more about our stay aboard the Dream soon, as well as our other Disney Honeymoon adventures!

Club 33

While planning our honeymoon, Ryan and I had the once in a lifetime opportunity to eat at the super secret Club 33!

Eating here was literally one of the things on my Bucket List, and our experience was even better than I had dreamed. We got a table in the main room, right next to the windows overlooking Cafe Orleans. The food was amazing, and they even surprised us with a complimentary dessert! We got to watch Fantasmic! from the outside balcony, and were allowed to stay and walk around as long as we liked. There was concept art all over the walls, and a few props from live action Disney films.
It felt like we were having dinner with a little piece of Walt.

Just thought I would share some inside pictures from our night there.

Club 33 is the only place in Disneyland that serves alcohol, hence my "real" Mint Julep
